The Nigerian Bar Association – Section on Legal Practice (NBA-SLP) has announced the adoption of a new official logo as part of efforts to strengthen the Section’s institutional identity and brand within the legal profession.
The announcement was made in an official notice issued on 4 March 2026 by the Chairman of the Section, Folashade Alli, SAN, who stated that the decision followed a careful review process aimed at aligning the Section’s visual identity with its evolving vision and strategic direction.
According to the notice, the transition forms part of broader initiatives to promote institutional development, professional excellence, and brand consistency across all activities of the Section.
With the approval of the new design, the logo takes immediate effect as the official emblem of the NBA-SLP and will be used across all communications and official engagements of the Section.
These include publications, digital platforms, correspondence, conference materials, branded merchandise, and other official activities conducted under the auspices of the NBA-SLP.
The leadership of the Section has also directed all committees and sub-committees to update their materials to reflect the newly adopted logo. The notice further stated that the previous logo will no longer be used for any official purpose.
To ensure uniformity in usage, the official brand assets, including approved logo formats and guidelines, will be circulated to members and relevant stakeholders.
The Section also called on members to cooperate fully in ensuring a smooth transition to the new brand identity.
NBA-SLP reiterated its commitment to strengthening the institutional development of the Section and advancing the standards of legal practice within the Nigerian Bar
