The NBA via an email to its members have shared a simple step-by-step guide to help lawyers easily access and use the NBA Digital Seal System. Kindly follow the steps provided below to access the NBA digital seal.
A) First-Time Login (Set Your Password)
If you are logging in for the first time, please set your password:
- Visit the portal login page: https://digitalseal.nigerianbar.online
- Scroll to the bottom and click “Set Password.”
(This option is for first-time users only.)
- Enter your SCN and your email address
(Please ensure your email is accurate.)
- Check your email for the OTP
- Check Inbox
- Also check Spam/Junk/Promotions folders
- Enter the OTP on the page
You will then see:
- New Password
- Confirm Password
- Create your password and save
- Return to the login page and sign in using:
SCN + Email + Password
B) Returning Users (Normal Login)
- Go to the portal login page
- Enter your SCN + Email + Password
- Click Sign In → you will land on your dashboard
C) Purchase Seal Packs (Top-Up Wallet)
1. On your dashboard, click “Buy Seals.”
2. Select a pack:
l 1 Pack = 25 seals @ N1000
l 2 Packs = 50 seals @ N2000
l 4 Packs = 100 seals @ N4000
l 10 Packs = 250 seals @ N10,000
l 20 Packs = 500 seals @ N 20,000
3. Click Proceed to Checkout and complete payment.
4. After payment, the gateway will automatically redirect you back and your wallet will be credited.
Important: Please do not close your browser during payment until you are returned to your dashboard.
D) Upload a Document
- From the dashboard, select Seal a New Document
- Upload your PDF document
(Your document is not stored on our servers. It is only processed to apply your seal and returned to you.)
- Click Continue to Seal Placement
Tip: A laptop or tablet gives the best placement accuracy.
E) Place the Seal
- On the preview screen, click Add Seal
- Drag and position the seal on the page
- You may place multiple seals on different pages if necessary
F) Apply Seal & Download
- Click Apply Seals & Download
- Your sealed PDF will download automatically to your device
- The document can be verified using the QR code / verification page
G) Complimentary Seal (Eligible Young Lawyers)
- On your dashboard, click Claim Complimentary Seal
- If eligible, you will receive 1 pack (25 seals) credited to your wallet
- You can immediately begin sealing documents
